Geisha Girl II

Music by Decor:

This video was originally made back in July ‘06, after i read ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’. A while after which, I recieved a myspace message from a chap called Tomas, who had painted a portrait of me from the video. I met him at the V&A Museum in london where the painting was on display, an event which, in a way, changed the course of my life. I left and returned 3 times before finally meeting him.

When i decided to take some of my videos down, to redub them, he contacted me again to say that he had some music that he’d made that i was welcome to use. Not only was the music exactly what i was looking for, but it was just so perfect to use one of his songs for the re-release of this particular video.

The painting was awesome, by the way.

Also, kudos to the guy behind http://origami.island-three.net/, who let me use his vector drawn origami lilies in my ident at the end.

Thankyou to everyone who has got me where i seem to be right now. You know who you are :)

Every year for the August 6, Peace Day, thousands of paper cranes to Hiroshima, from the most remote planet. Children from the city hanging cranes at the monument to Sadako, hoping to convey this message to everyone.
