Tip: Papers I usually buy on Ebay or Origami Shop. Japanese books I tend to buy from CDJapan.

If you love Origami Tato’s then you will for sure like this traditional “envelope”. The folding process for the Pinwheel Tato is very straight-forward, which makes this suitable even for a beginner. You will be rewarded with this beautiful geometric Origami design.

Info

You will need one piece of square Origami paper. You could fold it with any paper, but this distinctive Tato design only shows with Kami or two-colored paper. Keep in mind that the finished Pinwheel Tato will only be less than half the size of your original square paper.

For models like this one, I like to use Kami paper, but if I want more variety, I will use Duo paper!
