You can make these cute Origami Triangle Tato’s from a square or rectangular paper, because the first step is to convert the paper into an equilateral triangle. An equilateral triangle has all three sides of the same length.

Tip: Papers I usually buy on Ebay or Origami Shop. Japanese books I tend to buy from CDJapan.

You will need 1 sheet of Origami paper. It does not matter if you start from a square or rectangular paper. You can use mono colored paper or duo. One of the Origami Triangle Tato models shown in the video folds the corners so the other side of the paper shows as well. This model needs to be folded very accurately, as the slightest misstep results will show in the finished Origami model. You could try to fold the first example from copy paper and see for yourself.

For models like this one, I like to use Kami paper, but if I want more variety, I will use Duo paper!
